New Feature in the Blog: Designer Biography!!

Hey guys! We have a new feature we'll be doing everyday, it's the Designer Biography!! It's where me and Yazzie_yaz1019 pick a random fashion designer and post their biography and designs here! Today we picked Viktor and Rolf. Here is a biography of them and below it is a picture of them with their designs.
"Both born in 1969, Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren met while studying fashion at the Arnhem Art Academy. They both moved to Paris after graduating where they interned for brands such as Maison Martin Margiela, while designing their own clothes in their spare time. In 1993, they won the Festival d’Hyeres prize.

Viktor and Rolf established their own label in that year in Amsterdam. Both are known for designing theatrical and concept-based designs. In 1998, they put on an unauthorized, underground fashion show during the Paris fashion week to attract members of the press.

In 2003, the Fashion Museum in Paris presented a 10-year retrospective of the designers’ work. In 2005 Viktor and Rolf opened their first, flagship shop in the Golden Quadrilateral (Quadrilatero d’Oro) in Milan, and were contracted by L’Oréal to develop their first perfume, called Flowerbomb. In 2006, their first men’s perfume, Antidote, was introduced in the US. Viktor told Harper’s BAZAAR the fragrance was “all about the power of transformation. The power of every individual to turn anything into something positive.”

In November 2006, Viktor & Rolf followed Karl Lagerfeld and Stella McCartney in designing a line for the Swedish-based retailer H&M."
